I telephoned Affordable Cars 2 days prior to arrange a visit/test drive of a vehicle advertised on Autotrader. I arrived at our arranged time to find the car on the lot was hemmed in, unclean and not in the condition of the pictures they promoted the car to be in. I approached the guy in the sales office and said I was there for the arranged test drive, he then immediately questioned my intentions of buying the car, if I had the money today to buy it, in which I said I couldn't say/commit until I had driven the car. He replied with: he gives his customers the luxury of test driving the cars on their own but only if I committed to buying the car beforehand! I asked "would the same apply if you accompanied us" he replied yes. He also claimed that he had explained this to me in our prior telephone conversation, which was a complete lie! No way would I have made the round trim of 50 miles to view this car knowing I had to buy it before seeing how it drove! I have previously worked in motor sales for 6 years and experienced visiting a vast amount of car dealerships and never received such unwelcoming rude customer service. Unless you are willing to hand over the value of the car upfront before a test drive then this is not the garage for you and would be a total waste of your time and journey!

My previous car had to be scrapped so my partner and I set about looking for a replacement. After nearly being scammed on FB Marketplace (pls pls - this is a warning for you ) we decided to set about searching various garages. We came across Affordable Cars, Driffield and found the car we'd seen on their website. We telephoned in and told them we were coming to see it. Yep, excellent. Nothing hidden from the pics we saw. In great condition and we gained info from chatting with Andrew & discussing various things. It had all of its paperwork from prev. years (thanks to previous owners). We collected it yesterday after its MOT being refreshed with no advisories, Full Service, 3 months warranty & informing chat & info. about the car etc., It has driven very well, was very clean & tidy and am really looking forward to driving this lovely car. In respect of the garage - very good communication, no pressure for you to purchase, excellent car prep in readiness for the new owner to collect, and therefore we highly recommend you go see them and look around their cars for sale. My partner was so impressed and as he's recently decided to change his car you'll now understand where he is going... Affordable Cars Driffield. Right.... I'm off for a drive - in my new car !

Just got back after buying a car from them and over the moon with the purchase, with the part exchange as the current car failed it’s MOT and they were willing to take it as it is at a good price! Before the purchase we went several days in a row to look around and weigh up the options with plenty of cars to choose from, any questions we had were answered and there was no hassle or pressure from them as they let you roam freely and will let you sit inside the cars on request, on your own! Overall super friendly staff and have family members that have previously bought their cars of them so would highly recommended, thanks guys!

When we arrived to collect the camper a member of staff advised he will go and collect from the valeters although we had the opportunity to inspect the camper, at first sight it looked nice and clean, however it was clear once we got the camper home it had only been given a quick wash (externally only) so I recommend that you are more specific when you say it’s at the valeters thanks

My husband and I have used affordable cars quite a few times now, and they have never failed us. Their customer service is second to none, they concern themselves more with ensuring your happy with your purchase than making that sale, also all the car service, MOT, various checks they carry out on your car before you get it gives great peace of mind, they really look after you.
